When liquid <br />collects in these areas, the float rises and opens the switch. This is detected by the <br />CEI console. <br />Benefits <br />The size of the LS -7 allows it to be inserted into the annular space of a fiberglass <br />double- wall tank. The probe is a low cost device that requires little maintenenace. <br />The device is inherently safe. If the probe fails or the wiring to the console is faulty, <br />the console reports an alarm condition. <br />All probes are home run to the CEI console, and all probes are individually identified <br />at the console. <br />Specifications <br />Type Reed Switch <br />Operation Normally closed, open when floating <br />Recommended Location <br />The LS -7 is installed at the bottom of the annular space of the fiberglass double-wall <br />tanks.
