MULTI-PORT APPLICATIONS <br /> NHP*NCED 'VAPOR CO%W � <br /> In March of 2000,the California Air Resources <br /> Board adopted new, more stringent vapor recovery OPW 6500-EM SERIES INrE miw MuLn-PoRT PRODUCT <br /> requirements for gasoline dispensing facilities.The �" <br /> eq g p $ FILL/VAPOR RECOVERY SPILL CONTAINMENT MANHOLE <br /> new program is titled"Enhanced Vapor Recovery" FILL SPiLL CONTAINER VAPOR RECOVERY SPILL CONTAINER <br /> (EVR).EVR was developed to promote enhanced <br /> vapor recovery systern reliability and to seek further <br /> vapor emission reductions to meet both California <br /> and Federal Air Quality Requirements.These new <br /> compliance requirements and certification proce- <br /> dures for vapor recovery equipment constitute the ' <br /> most stringent and comprehensive performance <br /> and reliability requirements in existence for Vapor <br /> Recovery Systems.Phase 1 EVR is now in force in ° <br /> California.Additional EVR requirements,including <br /> those for Phase 2 vapor recovery equipment,will <br /> be phased in based on the timeline defined in the <br /> regulations(www.arbcagov/vaporlvaporhtm), e <br /> Outside of California,EVR,or certain components of <br /> EVR,is being adopted or considered in many areas. <br /> Some important new requirements for a certified <br /> EVR Phase 1 System include: <br /> u EVR System Certification Test Protocol—All <br /> Phase 1 vapor recovery components must now <br /> be installed,tested,,and certified as a complete <br /> integral Phase 1 System.
