DETERMINE THE DIIMNSION "X^ (DZAGRI►.H 3A) AND CONNECT THE <br />SHEAR VALVE AND UNION WITH A NIPPLE. IF THE VALVE AND INLET DO NOT <br />LINE UP, THEN THE IMPACT VALVE NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED EITHER IN THE <br />LENGTHWISE OR WIDTzs'WISE DIRECTION, SEE LENGTHWISE OR WIDTHWISE <br />ADJUSTMENT.CDsA' RA,fv ?.8) <br />2. <br />THE SHEAR VALVE MUST BE ADJUSTED VERTICALLY BY LOOSENING THE TWO <br />NUTS AT THE "U" BOLT ON THE VALVE PLATE (DIAGRAM 3A, NO- 1). <br />NEXT, LOOSEN THE PRIMARY TO SECONDARY SEALING NUT (DIAGRAM 3A, NO. <br />2) USING A CHAIN WRENCH OR OTHER APPLICABLE TOOL. NOW THE ENTIRE <br />IMPACT VALVE ASS---ni3LY IS FREE TO MOVE UP AND DOWN 5/8". <br />3e <br />AFTER THE DISPENSER RISER PIPE IS CONNECTED TO TE IMPACT VALVE, <br />PROCEED IN THIE FOLLOWING ORDER: <br />A. TIG'r:TLY SECL12^ THE SEALING NUT (DIAGRAAM 3A, NO. 2) TAXING <br />CARE NOT TO GVR—:RTHE UPPER PLASTIC NUT. <br />H <br />B- TIGHTEN THE 'i +�+TO "U" BOLT NUTS (DIAG_��-i 3�41A , NO 1) <br />C.
