Tracy Blvd., Tracy <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the revised application for a permit to install intrinsically safe wiring to the L16 diesel east <br /> annular sensor on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. <br /> Additional repairs were proposed due to a leak in the diesel east piping sump. The permit has <br /> been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br /> aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br /> approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to <br /> ensure that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 <br /> California Code of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. A copy of the alarm <br /> history shall be printed prior to performing the "cold start" of the Veeder Root system <br /> and made available at the time of EHD inspection. This was completed on July 26, <br /> 2010. <br /> b. 24-hour hydrostatic test(or equivalent)on diesel east sump. <br /> c. Secondary containment testing on diesel piping. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system OR receive fuel in <br /> the diesel east tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 4. If concrete will be broken near the USTs and/or piping, a secondary containment test <br /> must be performed on the USTs and/or piping once concrete is poured in accordance <br /> with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br />
