Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Garrett Backus at (209) 468-2986 to arrange the following inspection <br />appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br />a. Secondary containment testing on the turbine sumps, product tanks and product <br />piping, after backfill and concrete is cured. <br />Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD <br />inspection and approval. <br />4. Secondary containment testing for the turbine sumps is required six months after <br />installation. Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled. <br />5. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the <br />following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), or a <br />Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State Water Board, and <br />b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br />International Code Council (ICC), and <br />
