Return To Compliance 120 Frank West Circle Stockton, CA 95206
#13 Tanknology was scheduled to retest the sensor 3-23-07 but cancelled when their
employee called in sick. They have rescheduled the retest for 4-4-07. It is my
understanding they send the results to you and me at the same time. I can send
you a copy once I get mine.
#21 1 have had a recurring issue with everywhere Tanknology has opened one of my
sumps. I have informed them of the correct way to secure our manholes and
they will educate their people. They normally do not encounter many CNI
manholes like ours and were not familiar with how to secure them properly. I
have the liquid together with the water used to troubleshoot the spill buckets.
This water will be reused once again to test the retrofit spill bucket. See item
#32. Then the water will be properly disposed of and I can send you
documentation then.
#23 1 met with Kasey Foley at your office on 3-9-07 and was told that since David
Danens moved back east and is no longer employed at Teichert and since you
have numerous copies of my Designated Operator certificate, no further action is
required. We will in the future file the change of designated operator using your
form or a letter on our letterhead.
#23f I went to the site and found the training sheet in the monthly inspection binder
and have provided a copy for you here. This same issue came up last year so I
will put the training sheet in the front of the binder so you don't have to dig
through the monthly inspections. Is there anyway we can reword the inspection
because it notes this as a repeat violation with an exclamation mark (!)?
#32 You are correct much to my surprise the diesel spill buckets were cracked at the
very top in the corners of the bellows. Gettler-Ryan pulled a permit March 20th
and is awaiting approval to proceed. We did get the new manhole and spill
bucket last Wednesday in record time and have it on-site. See enclosed packing
slip and invoice. We are converting the fill from a double drop to a single drop.
Hopefully this will cut my problems in half. Gettler-Ryan will retest the spill
buckets and submit the required notification and test results.
SJPHS Retum To Compliance.doc 3/27/2007
