During each idle period, data is collected and combined with information from other idle periods to form a highly accurate leak detection data- base. Sophisticated statistical analysis techniques in CSLD constantly evaluate all new and all existing information in the database to discard invalid data and Go perform leak tests based on only high-quality information U in the current database. In fact, a new leak test is performed every time new data from an idle period is added. Since the database is constantly being updated, leak test results are always current — not results from a static leak test that may be days or even weeks old.
