SECTION III <br /> nz <br /> CHEMICAL ABUSE/ IMPAIRMENT <br /> AS EMPLOYEES 'MAY BE WORKING NEAR OR WITH HAZARDOUS OR DANGEROUS <br /> CONDITIONS, '`OPERATING OR WORKING NEAR HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND DRIVING LARGE <br /> TRUCKS ON THE HIGHWAYS, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT EMPLOYEES NOT BE IMPAIRED <br /> OR UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ANY CHEMICAL WHICH REDUCES THEIR EFFECTIVENESS <br /> IN REACTING TO A DANGEROUS CONDITION. THEREFORE, FALCON ENERGY ASSOCIATES, <br /> TO PROTECT ALL EMPLOYEES WHO DEPEND ON EACH OTHER ESTABLISHES THE FOLLOWING <br /> ABUSE/IMPAIRMENT POLICY; <br /> (1) CONSUMPTION OF ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE IN ANY QUANTITY AT ANY JOB <br /> SITE IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED, ANY PERSON OBSEVED CONSUMING ALCOHOLIC <br /> BEVERAGES DURING THE WORK DAY, REGARDLESS OF THE HOUR OR DAY, WILL <br /> BE IMMEDIATELY FIRED, <br /> (2) ANY EMPLOYEE REPORTING TO WORK AT ANY LOCATION UNDER THE INFLUENCE <br /> OF ALCOHOL, SMELLING OF ALCOHOL OR ALCOHOLIC CONTAINERS FOUND IN <br /> ANY EQUIPMENT. WILL BE 'IMMEDIATELY FIRED. <br /> (3) ANY EMPLOYEE -FOUND TO BE USING ANY OTHER ILLEGAL DRUG AT ANY TIME <br /> ON ANY JOB SITE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY FIRED. <br /> (4) CHEMICAL ABUSE/IMPAIRMENT IS DEFINED AS .USE OF ALCOHOL, MEDjCATION, <br /> DRUGS OR OTHER CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES WITHOUT A DOCTORS PERMISSION WHICH <br /> ALTERS, IMPAIRS OR CHANGES THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CONDITION OF THE <br /> EMPLOYEE. <br /> (5) ANY EMPLOYEE TAKING MEDICATION UNDER A DOCTOR`S CARE OR WHO HAS PURCHASED <br /> OVER THE COUNTER MEDICATION MUST ADVISE HIS SUPERVISOR. <br /> (6) ALL EMPLOYEES ARE ENCOURAGE NOT TO SMoKE, FALCON ENERGY WILL DISCUSS <br /> ANY LEGITIMATE REQUEST OF ANY EMPLOYEE TO QUIT SMOKING AND HELP PLACE <br /> THEM IN A PROGRAM 'IF SPONSORED BY THE COMPANY'S HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. <br /> EMPLOYEES ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. IN THESE MEDICALLY SUPERVISED <br /> PROGRAMS. <br />
