See the EHD
referrences to CCR 2652d in the letter dated Feb 23, 2009.
2-Ground water sampling, gauging and depth to water measurements and
geological (professional interpretations) in report format to Geotracker is hereby
modified for MW-1, MW-2, MW-4 and MW-6 to annually, during Third Quarter,
starting 3rd-2009 if the site has not received NFA yet.
3- MW-3 and MW-5 may have sampling and laboratory analyses reduced to semi-
annual (first and third quarters) and are to be sampled for: MW-1 , TPHg and
BTEX. MW-3, TPHg BTEX, Tame, 1 ,2-DCA. Reporting is still required during
second and fourth quarter as per referrences in my Feb 23, 2009 letter.
4-In consideration of a NFAR that is required very very soon, ALL MWs are to be
sampled for ALL analytes (TPHg, BTEX, oxys, lead scavengers) for the quarter the
NFAR is submitted to Geotracker. If, like I strongly recommend, you plan/get me
the NFAR during the 1st -2009, then this event is to be ALL wells/ALL analytes and
paragraphs #2 and #3 are superceded. but if you delay and don't get me the NFAR
until 2nd-2009, then it shall include all wells/all analytes and the first qrt -2009 follow
paragraph #2 and #3 above.
questions?
From: Tim Cuellar [mailto:tcuellar@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2009 3:23 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: Terminous Market
Mike,
Now before you say 'NO.....here me out @. I have reviewed your recent denial letter for
Terminous Market (see attached) to suspend ground water monitoring activities. In your letter,
you direct that a NFAR be prepared, and that the 1st quarter 2009 ground water monitoring data
be included in the report. Sounds pretty reasonable to me. AGE will start working on the NFAR
immediately.
The ground water monitoring program currently consists of monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6
for TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX, 5 oxys, 12-DCA & EDB (see attached table). Because wells MW-1,
5/28/2009
