INTRODUCTION <br /> I At the request of Mr Charles Jacobs of Terminous Market,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc(AGE) <br /> has prepared this work plan for installation of ground water monitoring wells at 13889 West <br /> Highway 12, Lodi, California(site) The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A plan of the <br />' site is illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> The San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) has <br /> directed by letter dated 24 April 2000 that a work plan be prepared for ground water monitoring <br /> wells at the site This work plan is prepared in accordance with PHS-EHD and California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (RWQCB-CVR) guidelines for the <br /> investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites <br /> This work plan provides a description of the scope of work and procedures for the installation of four <br /> Iground water monitoring wells <br /> • 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> In March 2000, four soil probe borings were advanced at the site, soil samples were collected from <br /> Ieach boring and submitted for laboratory analysis Grab ground water samples were collected from <br /> each boring, two of these (B-1 and B-2)were submitted for laboratory analysis Results of the initial <br /> investigation were submitted in a Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report, dated 17 April <br /> 2000 <br /> Based on the results of the laboratory analysis of the soil and ground water samples, the PHS-EHD <br /> directed by letter dated 24 April 2000 that additional subsurface investigation be performed at the <br /> site to delineate the vertical and horizontal extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impact to soil and to <br /> ground water <br /> 21 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The property is currently utilized as the Terminous Market The site is occupied by a one-story <br /> market, a residential dwelling, and a tool shed The site is bordered on the west by the Mokelumne <br /> River, and by agricultural property north, south and east of the site The facility formerly operated <br /> two fuel USTs and fuel dispensers The former USTs consisted of one 550-gallon unleaded gasoline <br /> tank and one 550-gallon leaded gasoline tank <br /> IAdvanced Geo Environ mental,Inc <br />
