: <br /> - g <br /> r«M Three samples from the site contained low levels of toluene. <br /> Sample S-8, from the Pit A stockpile, contained .005 mg/Kg of <br /> toluene. The soil in this stockpile was derived from throughout <br /> the 22 foot deep Pit A excavation. Sample S-1, from the most <br /> recent Pit B re-excavation stockpile, contained .002 mg/Kg .of <br /> toluene, This soil was derived primarily from the northern end of <br /> the pit, down to a maximum depth of five feet BGS. Sample S-3, <br /> from the western side of Pit B at a depth of 2.5 feet BGS, <br /> contained .003 my/Kg of toluene. <br /> All of the soil samples were analyzed for the presence of total <br /> lead. The average total lead concentration from the eight samples <br /> was 10.8 mg,/Kg with a high of 18.3 from S-2, and a low of 7.1 mg/Kg <br /> from S-7. Upon the request of the San Joaquin County EHD, samples <br /> S-2 and S-6 were analyzed for soluble lead by the California <br /> Assessment Manual Waste Extraction Test (CAM WET) . S-2 contained <br /> 0.12 mg/L soluble lead while S-6 contained no detectable soluble <br /> lead. <br /> in accord with specific discussion by WESTON with the EHD, soil <br /> samples from this re-sampling effort were not analyzed for ethylene <br /> dibromide (EDB) . <br /> 5.2 Water Sampling Results " <br /> A water sample, designated S-9, was collected from an irrigation <br /> } supply well adjacent to the subject site and analyzed for BTEX, <br /> -3 TPH-G, EDB and Total Lead. Analytical results indicate no <br /> detectable levels of any of these compounds in the water. <br /> 6.0 Analysis of Site conditions <br /> The State of California Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Manual (LUFT ~ <br /> Manual) contains a method for determining the potential impact of F. <br /> gasoline leaks on the envirarment.
