No employee other than the designated, licensed operator shall operate <br /> drilling equipment. <br /> SECTION 9 <br /> SANITATION <br /> 9. 1 DRINKING WATER <br /> 1 <br /> An adequate supply of potable water shall be provided on the site. Portable containers j <br /> used to dispense drinking water shall be capable of being tightly closed, and equipped <br /> with a tap. Water shall not be dipped from containers. Any container used to distribute <br /> drinking water shall be clearly marked as to the nature of its contents and not used for <br /> any other purpose. <br /> 9.2 TOILET FACILITIES <br /> Toilets shall be provided for employees according to 29 CFR 1910 Table H-120.2, at the <br /> M and M Automotive site.. <br /> p <br /> SECTION 10 <br /> STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES <br /> 10. 1 SAMPLING SAFETY MEASURES <br /> 1 ) Excavation safety measures should be followed closely. <br /> 2) Hand augers and power tools should be used in accordance with the <br /> operation safety measures. <br /> 3) Appropriate personal protective equipment must be used at all <br /> times. <br /> 4) Care must be taken to minimize exposure to decontamination <br /> solvents and other reagents used for sample preparation or <br /> preservation. <br /> 5) Protective eyewear must be used when driving sampling tools or <br /> when excavating soils using hand tools. <br /> 6) Drums demonstrating signs of internal pressure such as bulging <br /> ends, venting bungs, etc. should be opened with a remote drum f <br /> piercing device.
