VD <br /> Wright <br /> Environmental <br /> Services, Inc. <br /> Construction ♦ Engtneerrn t „ <br /> L <br /> February 17, 2000 2000 <br /> Project No 4100-OM �EB 2 8 <br /> ENvtR0%14111Et`�Tr` iG S rel <br /> pEpIVItT 1 �Ep <br /> M & M Automotive <br /> 60 E 1 Qth Street _ <br /> Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> Attention Mr Richard Moe <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Well Sampling Report <br /> 60 E 1 Qth Street, Tracy, CA <br /> Dear Mr Moe, <br /> This report describes the monitoring well sampling at the above referenced site Wright Environmental <br /> Services, Inc (Wright) was retained to coordinate sampling and chemical analysts of the site monitoring <br /> wells and to prepare quarterly reports of those events Previous reports are on file with the County of <br /> San Joaquin Public Health Service, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) regarding the removal of <br /> impacted soul discovered during underground fuel storage tank removal Three monitoring wells <br /> currently monitor the site, a well may be required to replace MW-1 which was destroyed as part of an <br /> intenum remedial action overseen by PHS-EHD and authorized by your partnership <br /> Field Sampling Procedures <br /> Four monitoring wells were sampled on January 27, 2000 The sampler purged well volumes of <br /> groundwater from each well using a submersible electric purge pump (after a volume calculation was <br /> done for each well purge based upon initial water level measurements) Purge water was stored on-site <br /> in barrels Measurements of conductivity, pH, and water temperature were obtained between each well <br /> volume, and noted on the attached groundwater sampling information sheets Once the readings <br /> stabilized over two purge volumes, aquifer water was assumed to enter the well Each well was then <br /> allowed to recharge to about 80% of the initial water level prior to sample collection A new disposable <br /> bailer was used to obtain each well groundwater sample <br /> Each sample was carefully poured into laboratory prepared containers leaving no headspace, capped, <br /> labeled, logged onto chain-of-custody forms and immediately placed on crushed ice for shipment to <br /> Chromalab Inc in Pleasanton, California (a State Certified Testing Lab) Table 1 presents the <br /> groundwater monitoring well water level data <br /> 67 E 10th Street • Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> 209 833 0758 .
