Wright <br /> Environmental <br /> Services, Inc. 17 <br /> Construction ♦ Engineering ♦ Remediation ! 1 • <br /> i <br /> July 19, 1999 <br /> Project No 4100-OM <br /> M & M Automotive <br /> 60 E 10th Street <br /> Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> Attention Mr Larry McLean <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Well Sampling Report <br /> 60 E 10th Street, Tracy, CA <br /> Dear Mr McLean, <br /> This report describes the monitoring well sampling at the above referenced site for the quarter <br /> ending June, 1999 Wright Environmental Services, Inc (Wright) was retained to coordinate <br /> sampling and chemical analysis of the site monitoring wells Previous reports are on file with <br /> the County of San Joaquin Public Health Service, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) <br /> regarding the removal of impacted soil discovered during underground fuel storage tank <br /> removal Four monitoring wells currently monitor the site <br /> Field Sampling Procedures <br /> Four monitoring wells were sampled on June 30, 1999 The samplers proceeded to purge well <br /> volumes of groundwater from each well using a submersible electric purge pump (after a <br /> volume calculation was done for each well purge following water level measurements) Purge <br /> water was stored on-site in barrels Measurements of conductivity, pH, and water temperature <br /> were obtained between each well volume, and noted on the attached groundwater sampling <br /> information sheets Once the readings stabilized over two purge volumes, aquifer water was <br /> assumed to enter the well Each well was then allowed to recharge to about 80% of the initial <br /> water level prior to sample collection A new disposable bailer was used to obtain each well <br /> groundwater sample <br /> Each sample was carefully poured into laboratory prepared containers leaving no headspace, <br /> capped, labeled, logged onto chain-of-custody forms and immediately placed on crushed ice f or <br /> shipment to Chromalab Inc in Pleasanton, California (a State Certified Testing Lab) Table 1 <br /> presents the groundwater monitoring well water level data <br /> 67 E 10th Street .
