Wright <br /> Env�ronrnen#al <br /> Services, Inc. <br /> July 30, 1996 <br /> Project No 4100-QM <br /> M & M Automotive <br /> 60 E 10th Street <br /> Tracy, CA 95376 <br /> Attention Mr Larry McLean <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Well Sampling Report <br /> 2nd Quarter, 1996 <br /> 60 E. 10th Street, Tracy, CA <br /> Dear Mr McLean, <br /> This report describes the sampling of monitoring wells at the above referenced site for the <br />• second quarter, ending June, 1996 Wright Environmental Services, Inc (Wright) was <br /> retained to coordinate sampling and chemical analysis of the site monitoring wells Previous <br /> reports are on file with the County of San Joaquin Department of Environmental Health <br /> regarding the removal of impacted soil discovered during the removal of underground fuel <br /> storage tanks Three monitoring wells currently exist on-site <br /> Field Sampling Procedures <br /> Three monitoring wells were sampled on June 27, 1996 The samplers proceeded to purge <br /> well volumes of groundwater from the well using a bailer (a calculation was done for each well <br /> following sounding measurements) Measurements of conductivity, pH, and water temperature <br /> were obtained between each well volume, and noted on the attached Groundwater Sampling <br /> Information Sheets Once the stabilization of the readings were noted aquifer water was <br /> assumed to be entering the well The well was then allowed to recharge to about 80% of the <br /> initial water level, the sample was collected from the well Purge water was stored on-site in <br /> barrels The chain-of-custody and the laboratory analysis results are attached A new <br /> disposable bailer was used to obtain each well groundwater sample which was placed in <br /> laboratory prepared glass bottles leaving no headspace, and immediately placed on ice for <br /> shipment to Priority Environmental Laboratories Inc in Milpitas, California (a State Certified <br /> Testing Lab) Table 1 presents the depth to groundwater data <br />• M & M Automotive Project No 4100-QM Page 1 <br /> 4220 Commercial Dr #5 • Tracy, California 95376 1164Telephone (209) 833-0758 • Fax (209) 832-5152 <br /> 1 <br />
