Project No 4100-QM �- - P,. 1 M & M Automotive 60 E 10th Street Tracy, CA 95376 Attention Mr Larry McLean Re Quarterly Monitoring Well Sampling Report 60 E 10th Street, Tracy, CA Dear Mr McLean, This report describes the monitoring well sampling at the above referenced site for the quarter ending June, 1997 Wright Environmental Services, Inc (Wright) was retained to coordinate sampling and chemical analysis of the site monitoring wells Previous reports are on fife with the County of San Joaquin Public Health Service, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) regarding the removal of impacted soil discovered during underground fuel storage tank removal Three monitoring wells currently exist on-site Field Sampling Procedures Three monitoring wells were sampled on June 30, 1997 The samplers proceeded to purge well volumes of groundwater from each well using a submersible electric purge pump (a volume calculation was done for each well following water level measurements) Purge water was stored on-site in barrels Measurements of conductivity, pH, and water temperature were obtained between each well volume, and noted on the attached groundwater sampling information sheets Once the readings stabilized over two purge volumes, aquifer water was assumed to enter the well Each well was then allowed to recharge to about 80% of the initial water level prior to sample collection A new disposable bailer was used to obtain each well groundwater sample Each sample was carefully poured into laboratory prepared containers leaving no headspace, capped, labeled, logged onto chain-of-custody forms and immediately placed on ice for shipment to Priority Environmental Laboratories Inc in Milpitas, California (a State Certified Testing Lab) Table 1 presents the groundwater monitoring well water level data Table 1 Groundwater Monitoring Well Data Well No Date Well Depth to Casing Water Floating Depth (ft) Water (ft) Elev (ft) Elev (ft) Product MW-1 12/26/95 17 00 870 4940 40 70 None MW-1 3/28/96 16 87 823 ----- 41 17 None MW-1 6127196 16 88 884 ----- 40 56 None MW-1 9/23/96 16 85 921 ----- 40 19 None MW-1 12/19/96 1 6 88 856 ----- 40 84 None MW-1 3/10/97 16 88 823 ----- 41 17 None MW-1 6130197 16 77 894 ----- 40 46 None 4220 Commercial Dr #5 - Tracy, California 95376 Page 1 � Telephone (209)833-0758 - Fax (209) 832-5152 U1,
