3.0 CONCLUSIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS AND PROJECT STATUS <br /> MBetween January 18, and June 22, 2006, the groundwater surface beneath the site rose an <br /> average of 0 13 feet, the groundwater gradient decreased from 0 004 to 0 003 foot/foot, and the <br /> groundwater flow direction shifted toward the north <br /> Between January 18, and June 22, 2006, the concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons in <br /> groundwater decreased in MW-2 to below reporting limits During the second quarter of 2006, <br /> groundwater from all three monitoring wells did not contain reportable concentrations of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons <br /> On April 5, 2006, EHD documented their review of the first quarter 2006 groundwater analytical <br /> 1 results, and directed that quarterly groundwater monitoring continue at the site <br /> Based on these conclusions, Ramage Environmental recommends that the three monitoring wells <br /> be sampled again in the third quarter of 2006, to confirm the analytical results, and groundwater <br /> flow and gradient characteristics If the groundwater samples collected in the third quarter of 2006 <br /> confirm that petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations are below reporting limits in the three wells, the <br /> case should be considered for regulatory closure <br /> r <br /> i <br />
