I have recently received a copy <br /> of your letter to Wait Lubcke of our Environmental Services <br /> Department and I am responding to item #3 regarding the <br /> directed tank removal . Walt will continue to coordinate all <br /> environmental issues and will be responding to items 1 and 2 <br /> of your letter separately. <br /> It is our intention to comply with your instructions to <br /> remove all underground tanks and underground pj-'Lping from the <br /> subject site. I will be responsible for directing the <br /> physical removal of tanks and the restoration of the site to <br /> normal use. Walt Lubcke will be responsible for coordinating <br /> _ f�testing,, site assessments, ' aod-any additional <br /> remediation as may be required. It is my understanding that <br /> Walt will continue to utilize the services of Groundwater <br /> Technology for any necessary sampling and remediation. My <br /> basic plan for the tank removal is as follows: <br /> 1 ' I have already put the project out to bid with qualified <br /> contractors, experienced in underground tank removal . <br /> Instructions include complying with all local , state and <br /> federal requirements and permits. Tanks are to be destroyed. <br /> 2.
