Quarterly Update of
May 18 , 1990 is complete.
It appears that the majority of dissolved hydrocarbons in the
groundwater may be concentrated near the former underground tank
and pump island locations. However, because access to the
monitoring wells located on the Rocha ' s property has been
restricted, we suggest that you proceed with the installation of a
well or wells in the public right-of- way on Connie Avenue. We will
expect to have a work plan along with the necessary encroachment
permits submitted to this office by December 6, 1990.
A 48 hour notice is required prior to any field activity.
Operation of the groundwater extraction system and the vapor
extraction system should continue until acceptable groundwater
quality is achieved.
If you have any questions contact Greg Lyon, EHS, of my staff at
(2 09) 468-3450.
Jogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
Health Officer
Laurie A.
