(GTI) at the 7-Eleven (Store No. <br /> 2243-20680) located at 9110 Thornton Road in Stockton, California <br /> (See Figures 1 and 2) . The site is situated on the northeast. <br /> V corner of Thornton Road and Waudman Avenue in a mixed commercial <br /> and residential area. This report covers the period from <br /> f <br /> November 1, 1987 through March 31, 1988. <br /> F <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> iY In April 1986, GTI was retained by Southland Corporation to <br /> conduct a subsurface investigation at the above-mentioned <br /> location of a suspected unleaded-gasoline release. Subsequent to <br /> the initial investigation, a recovery/treatment system was <br /> installed to address the dissolved and free-product phases of <br /> Fa groundwater contamination. A soil-vent system was later in- <br /> stalled to treat the adsorbed-phase of contamination in the <br /> soils. A more detailed account of the previous site work as well <br /> as a description of the site geology and hydrogeology was <br /> resented in GTI's report titled "Project Update Report,ort, 7-Eleven p ] p p <br /> Store, 9110 Thornton Road, Stockton, California, September, <br /> 1987." <br /> - <br /> GROUNDWATER <br /> �n� TECHNOLOGY,INC. <br />
