MEN
_Q: WN M12111WIMEMM E 99 mum;
w PROJECT UPDATE REPORT
7-ELEVEN STORE
9110 THORNTON ROAD
ST.00KTON, CALIFOPSIA
APRIL, 1988
INTRODUCTION
This report presents an update of the services performed by
Groundwater Technology, Inc. (GTI) at the 7-Eleven (Store No.
2243-20680) located at 9110 Thornton Road in Stockton, California
(See Figures 1 and 2) . The site is situated on the northeast.
V corner of Thornton Road and Waudman Avenue in a mixed commercial
and residential area. This report covers the period from
f
November 1, 1987 through March 31, 1988.
F
BACKGROUND
iY In April 1986, GTI was retained by Southland Corporation to
conduct a subsurface investigation at the above-mentioned
location of a suspected unleaded-gasoline release. Subsequent to
the initial investigation, a recovery/treatment system was
installed to address the dissolved and free-product phases of
Fa groundwater contamination. A soil-vent system was later in-
stalled to treat the adsorbed-phase of contamination in the
soils. A more detailed account of the previous site work as well
as a description of the site geology and hydrogeology was
resented in GTI's report titled "Project Update Report,ort, 7-Eleven p ] p p
Store, 9110 Thornton Road, Stockton, California, September,
1987."
-
GROUNDWATER
n TECHNOLOGY,INC.
