7-11/Stockton 14
June 1989
o After allowing sufficient time for the well seals to
set, the wells will be developed by alternately surging
and pumping until groundwater pumped from the well is
silt-free. All development water will be settled in
55-gallon drums and run through the air stripper for
legal disposal.
o Following well development, all wells will be sampled
using an EPA-approved TeflonR Sampler. Monitoring
wells will be purged by hand hailing a minimum of four
well volumes prior to sampling. Samples will be stored
in 40-milliliter glass VOA vials, labeled, placed on
ice, and transported to GTEL Environmental
- Laboratories, Inc. (GTEL) along with a Chain-of-Custody
_ Manifest in accordance with GTI SOPs 9, 10, 11 and 12
(Appendix A) . Prior to well development and purging,
all wells will be monitored for depth-to-water and
depth-to-product using an ORS Environmental Equipment
InterfaceR Probe in accordance with GTI SOP 8 (Appendix
A) . Also, the wellhead elevations will be surveyed by
a licensed surveyor to an established benchmark to an
accuracy within 0.01 foot. These data will allow GTI
— to produce an accurate base map and groundwater
gradient map.
o A detailed report will be prepared outlining the
activities and results of the drilling program and this
additional assessment.
CLOSURE
Groundwater Technology, Inc. is pleased to provide the
Southland corporation with our services. We trust that this work
M plan meets your needs at this time.
 GHQ it\U1tiCl'F:R
Th:o1.,o1 X;1.INC
