AM <br /> WORK PLAN <br /> ADDITIONAL SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> 7-ELEVEN STORE NO. 20680 <br /> 9110 THORNTON ROAD <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> APRIL 1989 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The following is a proposed work plan for additional site <br /> assessment at the Southland Corporation, 7-Eleven Store #20680 <br /> located at 9110 Thornton Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1) . <br /> This work plan is presented in order to detail the tasks <br /> presented in Groundwater Technology, Inc. 's (GTI) cost proposal <br /> presented to the Southland Corporation (Southland) on November <br /> 23, 1988, and the letter from Southland dated January 17, 1989. <br /> In conjunction with obtaining the required lead agency approval <br /> and permits to conduct the work described, this work plan is to <br /> be submitted to the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CRWQCB) (lead agency) , and to the San Joaquin County local <br /> Health District. The tasks described in this work plan focus on <br /> the need to further define the horizontal and vertical extent of <br /> the contaminant plume. In addition, completion of the work <br /> described will allow for a determination of the vertical <br /> hydraulic conductivity at the site. <br /> This work plan addresses the installation of i4ditional on <br /> off--site monitoring wells. The new installations will include <br /> two monitoring wells, and two "well nests". Each monitoring <br /> _. well will be constructed of 2-inch-diameter PVC casing, w1i4_ <br /> each of the well nests will be made up of three, 2-inch-diameter <br /> monitoring wells installed at various depths. The two monitoring <br /> w - wells will be located off site to the north and to the northwest <br /> CROUNDWATER <br /> -v TECHiULOG!'.11C. <br />
