a
7-Eleven/Stockton 15
May 1990
WELLHEAD UPGRADE AND RESURVE'L
During this quarter, all wellheads were upgraded to
accommodate water-tight expansion caps and new locks. Once the
wells ;were upgraded, the wellhead elevations were professionally
resurveyed.
In addition to outfitting the wells with the new caps and >
locks, some minor construction was performed to better secure
MW-5 and MW-15A, MW-15B, and MW-15C. Due to flooding of MW-5
- during the winter months, the wellhead was raised and set in a
3-foot by 3-foot cement pad. This will facilitate access to the
well during the rainy season. Due to the close proximity of the
off-site well cluster (MW-15) to waudman Avenue, the street boxes
- were reset into a 3-foot-by-8-foot cement pad.
Following all well upgrade operations, the elevation of all
wellheads were resurveyed to an established San Joaquin County
benchmark. The survey was performed by Wong Engineers, Inc. on
March 7, 1990. The new wellhead elevations are presented in
Table 1 and the survey re:poit is included in Appendix H.
GROUNDWATER MONITORING
Monitoring of the groundwater elevation in the monitoring
wells was conducted four times during the reporting period.
These 'monitoring data are presented in Table 3 (Appendix A) .
-- Groundwater monitoring was performed in accordance with
Groundwater Technology Standard Operating Procedure (SOF) 8
(Appendix D) •
Ca GROUNDWATER
T
IECHNOLO(W,INC.
