RV-88-3) Staff has reviewed the revised information submitted for Recreational Vehicle Park Application No . RV-88-3 and offers the following comments . I apologize for the delay in responding to your project revisions. It has taken more time than expected to collect the public agency comments. Traffic Study: Caltrans has reviewed the revised traffic study and finds that the analysis is adequate. Caltrans recommends that some provi- sion be made for future financial participation by the applicant in any interchange improvements required at I-5/Roth Road. The Department of Public Works will require an improvement of Frewert Road from the project site to Manthey Road to conform to County standards for a 50-foot rural road right-of-way. Page 9 of the traffic study notes that a 32-foot-wide section of Manthey Road will be improved with road oil . This does not conform to County standards which, in addition to the requirement of a 32-foot-wide improvement section, require materials of asphalt base and asphalt concrete . Page 9 of the study also notes that turn-around points are proposed along Frewert Road. Before staff can offer comments on this proposal, a detail map must be provided to show the number, locations, designs, and types of improvements proposed for the turn-around. A secondary emergency access is shown on the site plan of the traffic study. No such secondary access route is shown on the revised site plan. In addition to providing a secondary access route at the Frewert Road entrance to the site, a secondary public road connection may be required by the Department of Public Works . Additional information on this issue will be pro- vided as soon as it becomes available .
