Accordingly, a Problem
Assessment Report (PAR), as described in the Tri-Regional Recommendations, Appendix A, will need to be
submitted to this office. The PAR should investigate all possible remedial alternatives available after the
boundaries of contamination are located. The PAR should show the"zero lines" on site maps and in cross
sections for both soil and groundwater. Any preliminary pumping tests and soil analysis results should also
be included.
In order to prepare a PAR, further assessment at the site is needed) A work plan to investigate the full
lateral and vertical extent of groundwater contamination plumes and zones of soil contamination (i.e. zero
lines) should be submitted to this office by May 20, 1991.
Also, any future sampling of the soil and/or groundwater should include a test for total lead. As previous
levels suggest, it too should be monitored.
If you have any questions contact Linda Turkatte, EHS, at (209)468-3441.
Jogi Khanna, ., M.P.H.
Health Offi r
Z
A.
