i <br /> 1995 ANNUAL GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> i QUIK STOP MARKET NO. 120 <br /> 9321 NORTH THORNTON ROAD <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> i 1 .0 INTRODUCTION <br /> Smith Environmental Technologies Corporation (Smith Environmental) is pleased to <br /> present this report of the results of the 1995 annual groundwater monitoring conducted <br /> at the subject site located in the City of Stockton, California (Figure 1 ) The site plan <br /> (Figure 2) shows the location of the station building, adjacent streets, monitoring wells, <br /> and other site-specific features Background information on the site was included in <br />' Appendix A of the semiannual groundwater monitoring report for June 1993 (RESNA, <br /> August 1993) <br /> The monitoring wells are sampled semiannually to monitor the shallow groundwater <br /> underlying the site The program objectives are listed below <br /> Measure depth to groundwater <br /> • Sample and analyze groundwater samples for specified petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> constituents <br /> Construct a groundwater elevation contour map <br /> • Construct a groundwater total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-D), total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G) and benzene concentration map <br /> • Compare current and past data <br /> The existence and degree of petroleum hydrocarbons in the groundwater underlying the <br /> site is evaluated by (1 ) the presence of free-floating product and (2) laboratory analyses <br /> of groundwater samples to determine concentrations of TPH-D, TPH-G, benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) <br /> Mb1w 184 2811pw monitbNywmr rpt(Aug 16 961 S H <br />
