September 19, 1994 <br /> WALLACE • KUHL <br /> &A550CIATES INC <br /> Ms Barbara Jean Drake <br /> 8315 Arroyo Way SEP 2 1 1994 <br /> Stockton, California 95209 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERMIUSERVICES <br /> QUARTERLY STATUS REPORT <br /> 26485 THORNTON ROAD <br /> Thornton, California 95206 <br /> WKA No 2556 02 <br /> Dear Ms Drake, <br /> As requested by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, we are submitting <br /> this quarterly status report for the subject property, located a 26485 Thornton Road <br /> in Thornton, California (Plate 1) <br /> Most recent ground water elevation measurements of the three morutoring wells <br /> (MW1-MW3) took place on August 22, 1994, historical ground water elevation data <br /> is provided in Table 1 A survey of the three existing wells has not been completed <br /> As a result, no ground water flow direction has been calculated for the site <br /> Georechmcal Engineering <br /> Ground water samples were also obtained from the three on-site monitoring wells on <br /> Engineering Geology August 22, 1994 Prior to sampling, the water level in each well was measured and <br /> Environmental Consulting checked for visual signs of free product using a clear bailer Approximately three to <br /> five well volumes of water were purged from each well using a two-inch submersible <br /> � Remediation Servaces <br /> pump until temperature, pH, and conductivity readings stabilized and/or the water <br /> Construction Inspection cleared of sediment The water samples were then collected using a new <br /> polyethylene disposable bailer Water from the disposable bailer was decanted into <br /> Materials Testing appropriate sample containers provided by the laboratory <br /> Water samples were immediately placed in an ice-chest with ice and submitted under <br /> 3050 Industrial Blvd chain-of-custody to a California-certified laboratory for analysis of Total Petroleum <br /> West Sacramento Hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline using Modified EPA test method 8015, and <br /> t� <br /> 1 Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Total Xylenes (BTEX) using EPA test <br /> CA 95691 <br /> method 602 <br /> Fax 916 372 2565 <br /> / 916 372 1434 <br /> Recycled paper <br />
