I26485 THORNTON ROAD <br /> � WKA No 2556 02 <br /> I August 18, 1994 <br /> Page 4 <br /> SOIL BORING INVES'T'IGATION <br /> IThree borings were also drilled November 19, 1993 at the locations shown on Plate 2 <br /> Analytical results of soil samples obtained from borings MWl and MW3 revealed no detectable <br /> concentrations of gasoline Analytical results of soil samples obtained from boring MW2 at a <br /> depth of 1 i feet revealed a gasoline concentration of 39 mg/kg. Laboratory results for the soil <br /> boring samples are presented in Table 2, complete laboratory reports and chain-of-custody <br /> documentation are appended <br />' Each boring was subsequently converted to a monitoring well. Analytical results of the initial <br /> ground water samples obtained from monitonng wells MW2 and MW-3 on November 23, 1993 <br /> revealed concentrations of TPH as gasoline ranging from 280 µg/f to 620 µglf. Analysis of the <br /> sample obtained from monitoring well MWl revealed no detectable concentration of TPH as <br /> gasoline <br /> A detailed description of drilling and sampling procedures is appended <br />' QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING <br />' In accordance with our February 8, 1994 Proposal for Quarterty Ground Water Monuonng, the <br /> three ground water monitoring wells were sampled a second time on March 8, 1994 and analyzed <br />' for TPH as gasoline and BTEX <br />' Analytical results for samples obtained from wells MW2 and MW3 revealed TPH as gasoline <br /> concentrations of 160 gg/1 and 49 µgIf Trace concentrations of xylene and ethylbenzene were <br /> also reported in MW2 with xylene additionally appearing in MW3 No detectable concentrations <br />' of TPH as gasoline or BTEX were reported in the ground water sample obtained from monitoring <br /> well MW 1 Laboratory results for the water samples are presented in Table 3, complete <br />' laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documentation are appended. <br /> INK <br />' WALLACE KUHL <br /> Recycled papa. &ASSOCIATES INC <br />
