A Request for Proposal (RFP) to meet state regulatory requirements will be
submitted to at least.three contractors, approvcd by your department, to conduct
environmental investigations. (A current list would be most appreciated.)
2. The RFP will specify that the contractor must prepare a work plan and a site
safety and health plan for your department's approval. The work plan will
require, as you recommended, three soil borings: Two vertical at the ends of the
former tank; One slant under the plant. Samples will be collected, analyzed and
reports written in accordance with your department's guidelines.
3. Our current plan is to issue the RFP within the next 30 days. Would you like to
review it prior to our sending it out?
631 North Cluff Avenue
P.O.
