Advanced v
GeoEnvironmental , Inc .
04 April 2012
AGE-NC Project No. 96-0254
Ms. Lisa Medina
/ San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton, California 95202
Subject: Risk Assessment of On-Site Domestic Water Well
Former CURTISS PONTIAC-BUICK
2450 Toste Road, Tracy, California
Dear Ms. Madina:
At the request of Toste Farms, Inc., Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. has prepared this
risk assessment forthe domestic waterwell located of 2450 Toste Road, Tracy, California.
According to previous conversations with Mr. Joe Toste, Jr., the property owner and visual
inspections, there is one domestic water well (DW-2450) located on-site at 2450 Toste
Road, Tracy, CA. The well is completed to a total depth of 220 feet below surface grade
(bsg) and contains a well screen from 195 feet to 220 feet bsg. The Water Well Drillers
Report (WWDR) was recovered for the domestic water well and was presented in
Appendix E of the AGE-prepared, No Further Action Required Report (NFAR) dated
27 December 2011. The location of DW-2450 is presented in Figure 1.
DW-2450 is located approximately 75 feet up-gradient of the former dispensers, UST area,
and the unauthorized release area. DW-2450 was sampled during the first and second
quarters of 2002 for TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX, and seven fuel additives; none of the analytes
were detected above laboratory reporting limits in the samples collected. Additionally,
monitoring well MW-3 is located approximately 7 feet northeast of DW-2450, between the
unauthorized release area and DW-2450; TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX and six of the seven fuel
additives were not detected above laboratory reporting limits in ground water samples
collected from MW-3 since sampling began in February 1998 until the final sampling event
in December 2008. TBA was detected in well MW-3 in August and November 2005 at
maximum concentrations of 20 micrograms per liter. However, TBA was not detected in
MW-3 before August 2005 or again after November 2005.
Based on the distance and up-gradient direction from the former UST area, screen interval
depth of DW-2450, and historical results of ground water samples collected from DW-2450
837 Shaw Road • Stockton,CA 95215
Telephone(209)467-1006 •Fax(209)467-1118
