Wells <br /> located in areas known or suspected to be contaminated must have the well contents removed, <br /> typically through drilling them out, and then ;be grouted; otherwise, the wells can be pressure <br /> grouted with the required below surface cut off and mushroom cap as stated in the San Joaquin <br /> County Well Standards. Any deviations from the well standards must be justified.
