I need a response for each waste listed in the
violation. Each unknown waste needs a description of what it was and how it was disposed of. For example: the black
55 gallon steel drum containing ended up containing oily debris and was handled as hazardous waste.
Violations 110/111: Failed to keep uniform manifests./Failed to file exception reports-BOTH OPEN. I need copies of the
missing disposal records listed in the violations.
Violation 119: Failed to report in CERS-OPEN. A CERS submittal needs to be made where "yes" is marked for hazardous
waste generation.
Violation 301: Failed to minimize the release of a hazardous waste-OPEN. I need more information. What happened to
the wastes? Were the pickups included with the disposal records received?
Violation 406: Contaminated container not marked with empty date-CLOSED.
Violation 601: Stored hazardous waste on site too long-CLOSED.
Violation 605: Failed to label hazardous waste containers-CLOSED.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thank You,
John Alaniz
REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 E Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-3147
Fax: (209) 468-3433
Please note, my email address has changed to jalanizl@sjgov.org.
1
