Apr 17 2011:24a 17/ 2021 The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for HERNANDEZ AUTO PAINT as of Apr1109, 2020. p.3 Open violations from April 08, 2019 inspection Violation #102 -f=atted to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste, According to the owner, Hernandez, sanding dust is swept up and thrown into the trash. Hernandez said that the waste would start to be handled as a hazardous waste. The following wastes were found in the backyard area: One black 55 gallon steel drum contained an unknown solid (full) One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing an unknown liquid (full) One white 55 gallon poly drum contained an unknown liquid (full) ,Two yellow 1 gallon buckets contained an unknown solid (full) -Twelve 5 gallon buckets contained an unknown waste (each had waste in it) Two red 5 gallon buckets contained a paint waste (each 112 full) Immediately, make a complete hazardous waste determination for the above wastes, and manage them according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Copies of uniform manifests for the disposal of hazardous waste for 2016, 2017, 20183 and 2019 were not found on site for paint solids and water based paints. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. Manifest numbers 017792233JJK (3!'1212018} and 017792234JJK (311 212 0 1 8} were not found on site. Hazardous waste genera#ars shall retain copies of alt manifests for three years or until a copy signed off by the desfination faclltty is received. The signed off copy shall be retained and made readily available for review for three years. If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste was submitted within 60 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit a legible copy of the missing manifest, with some indication that the generator has not received confirmation of delivery. This information shall be submitted to: DTSC Report Repository Generator Information Services Section P.O. Sox 806 Sacramento, OA 95812-0806 Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifests or prepare and submit the required information to DTSC. Submit to the EHD a copy of the signed off copy of the manifests or a copy of the information submitted to DTSC.
