Your office will issue,the Case <br /> Closure letter for out site upon the completion of the Monitoring Well Destruction work <br /> of the four existing groundwater monitoring.wells. _ <br /> A portion of the Site Assessment work at the Boyd Service Center Site also included <br /> sampling rear the old Chevron pipelines that cross the site. These,old pipelines may date <br /> back to the early._ 1900s and investigation sampling revealed some petroleum <br /> contamination at the pipelines. This issue has not yet been resolved with Chevron and <br /> the existing monitoring wells are located down gradient positions from the old pipelines. <br /> The City requests retaining the four monitoring wells for possible'future sampling for the <br /> - pipeline issue. The.
