LT' <br /> R p W N A N D <br /> C A L D W E L L <br /> August 8, 1995 <br /> Phoenix Lodge <br /> Post Office Box 8077 <br /> Freemont, California 94537 417-2b70-111 <br /> Subject: Permission to Install Three Groundwater Monitoring Wells Within the <br /> Property Located at 3511 North Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, California <br /> Dear Phoenix Lodge: <br /> On behalf of ARCO Products Company (ARCO), Brown and Caldwell (BC) is requesting <br /> your perrmssion to drill and install three groundwater monitoring wells on your property <br /> (Motel Orleans) located at 3511 North Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, California. The well <br /> installation is part of an ongoing soil and groundwater investigation for ARCO Facility 2093 <br /> located at 3425 Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, California. One well would be installed by the pool <br /> area, another well would be installed between the office and the motel complex, and the other <br /> well would be installed by the fence in front of the motel complex. The wells would be <br /> approximately 25 to 30 feet deep and would be enclosed in an 8-inch-diameter steel traffic <br /> box mounted flush with the ground surface. After installation, the wells will be sampled on <br /> a quarterly basis for a period of at least five years. The additional investigation for this <br /> ARCO Facility is being required by the San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (County). <br /> Enclosed are two copies of a standard access agreement that has been prepared for you and <br /> ARCO. If you agree with the terms of the access agreement, please sign both copies and <br /> return both copies to Brown and Caldwell.
