CHRONOLOGY
3425 TRACY BLVD.
LOP SIT CODE: 1416
APN: 214 180 20
CVRWQCB CASE # 390055
12/05/86 A 550 gallon waste oil UST was removed on.this date. The soil at 8 feet
below surface grade (bsg) was contaminated so on 12/18/86 excavation of
the contaminated soil to 11.5 feet was conducted. The soil sample
collected at 11.5 feet was contaminated so soil was excavated to 12 feet
bsg on 1121187. This soil also was contaminated so a groundwater
investigation was required.
03/16/87 An unauthorized release report (URR) was filed this date.
4/20-22187 four monitoring wells (ATR1 screened from 10' to 35' and ATR2 —
ATR4 screened from 8' to 30') were installed. The monitoring wells were
sampled on 4/23/87 and sample results were positive for petroleum
hydrocarbons.
04/28/88 EHD filed a URR for soil contamination discovered during a gasoline
UST piping repair.
03/8-9/89 Three monitoring wells were installed (ATR5 —ATR7 screened 20'
starting from 6.5 to 7.5 feet).
10/03/89 Site was placed in Pilot Program/Local Oversight Program and EHD
became lead agency.
10/9-11/90 Two soil borings BHl and B112 were drilled, three monitoring wells were
installed (ATR9, ATR 10, ATR 12 screened from 5' to 25'), and a
groundwater extraction well (TEX1 screened from 5'to 35') was installed.
08/21/91 Monitoring wells (ATR8 and ATR 11 screened from 5' to 25') were
installed.
01/23/92 Sheen on water in ATR3 that is just north of the UST location was
observed.
05/04/93 Soil borings drilled to 15' in the proposed new UST installation location
(north of the dispensers and northeast of the existing UST's) on this date.
Soil sample results showed the soil was contaminated.
05/14/93 Date of"Final Remediation Plan" for vapor extraction, air sparging and an
option for groundwater extraction.
