PHS/EHD has a contract with <br /> California State Water Resources Control Board to conduct an underground storage <br /> tank corrective action program. Section 25297.1(b) Chapter 6.7 of the Health and <br /> Safety Code provides PHS/EHD the authority to require an investigation and cleanup <br /> of unauthorized releases. The above referenced site was placed in the PHSIEHD <br /> Local Oversight Program (LOP) and is under investigation and cleanup. <br /> There is soil and groundwater that has been contaminated with petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons at the Arco facility directly south of your motor lodge at 3511 North <br /> Tracy Boulevard. The groundwater contamination off sitelnorth of Arco's monitoring <br /> well #8 is not fully defined.
