w1 � <br /> ATTACHMENT A <br /> REMEDIAL SYSTEM PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br /> The SVE/AS systems were initiated on January 4, 1996 and June 18, 1997, respectively A brief description and <br /> performance evaluation of the remedial system during third quarter, 2001 are presented below Certified <br /> laboratory analytical reports,chain-of-custody documentation,and field data sheets are included as Attachment A-A <br /> SVE System <br /> The SVE system is comprised of 11 SVE wells (VES-I through VES-7, and ATR-3, ATR-4, ATR-5, and TEX-1) <br /> and a King Buck Hasstech 100-cfm catalytic oxidizer The SVE system is permitted by the San Joaquin County <br /> Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJCUAPCD) Permit to Operate Number N-3413-1-0, for operation through <br /> January 1,2002 <br /> The system remained off due to low influent concentrations To date, the SVE system has removed approximately <br /> 3,616 6 pounds of TPHg and 10 6 pounds of benzene from the soil and groundwater beneath the site Historical <br /> SVE system performance and analytical data are summarized in Tables A-1 through A-3 Graphical presentations of <br /> TPHg mass removal and influent concentration data are shown on Figures A-1 and A-2 <br /> AS System <br /> The AS system is comprised of I1 AS wells (VES-1 through VES-7, S-1 through S-3, and SMW-1) and a Conde <br /> 7 5-hp sparge blower The AS system operated at an average infection pressure of 4 3 psi and an average flow rate <br /> of 5 9 cfm AS system operational data, including well open/closed status, flow rate and applied pressure, are <br /> presented in Table A-4 Historical dissolved oxygen levels for site wells are presented in Table 1 of this report <br /> Conclusion <br /> Influent concentrations of TPHg and benzene continue to decline The AS system will continue to be operated <br /> during the fourth quarter, the SVE system will be pulsed, and then evaluated to determine if it will remain <br /> operational <br /> Attachments Table A-1 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Performance Data <br /> Table A-2 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Emission Data <br /> Table A-3 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Well Data <br /> Table A-4 - Air Sparging System Well Data <br /> Figure A-1- Soil Vapor Extraction System Mass Removal Trend <br /> Figure A-2- Soil Vapor Extraction System Hydrocarbon Concentrations <br /> Attachment A-A—Certified Laboratory Analytical Reports,Chai-of-Custody Documentation, <br /> And Remedial System Field Data Sheets <br />
