B R 0 W N A <br /> C A L D W E L L <br /> March 13, 1996 <br /> Mr Kyle Christie <br /> ARCO Products Company <br /> Post Office Box 612530 <br /> San Jose, California 95161 017-2043-01/1 <br /> Subject Fourth Quarter 1995 Report for ARCO Facility 2093, 3425 Tracy Boulevard, <br /> Tracy, California Pilot Program Site 1416 <br /> Dear Mr Christie <br /> This report presents water-level measurements and results of groundwater sampling performed <br /> during the fourth quarter of 1995 at ARCO Products Company(ARCO) Facility 2093, located at <br /> 3425 Tracy Boulevard in Tracy, California Fieldwork was performed by EMCON Associates <br /> (EMCON) on October 26 and 27, 1995 This report was prepared under Work Authorization <br /> No 08458-00 <br /> . There are seven on-site groundwater monitoring wells (ATR-1 through ATR-7), one on-site <br /> dual-completion groundwater monitoring/air sparging well (SMW-1), one on-site dual-purpose <br /> groundwater extraction/soil vapor extraction well (TEX-1), seven on-site dual-completion soil <br /> vapor extraction/air sparging wells (VES-1 through VES-7) and three on-site air sparging wells <br /> (S-1 through S-3) as shown on Figure 1 In addition, there are five off-site monitoring wells <br /> (ATR-8 through ATR-12) <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from wells ATR-1, ATR-2, ATR-4, ATR-5, ATR-6, <br /> ATR-7, ATR-9, SMW-1, and TEX-1 Wells ATRA, ATR-3, ATR-6, ATR-9, ATR-10, and <br /> ATR-11 are on a semi-annual sampling schedule, and are sampled during the first and third <br /> quarters of each year However, wells ATR-l, ATR-6, and ATR-9 were sampled this quarter <br /> Well ATR-8 was not sampled because of the presence of 0 03 feet of free product A passive <br /> free product skimmer has been installed in well ATR-8 To date, approximately one gallon of <br /> gasoline has been removed from this well The free product skimmer is checked and emptied on <br /> a monthly basis, or as needed Groundwater monitoring data was not collected from well <br /> ATR-12 because EMCON personnel could not open the well Iid <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site <br /> F,vont-rental Engineering Ano Consuttrng Ana+Ticar Services 2043Vt6P0RTS\4TH95QTR DOC <br /> 9616 MicRo-, -1, L\it 5LITf 600 S ,CktuI',T0 C �k 9)8 2 7 2627 <br /> 19161 444 0 12 3 Fat (916) 8�6 )217 <br />
