ATTACHMENT A <br /> REMEDIAL SYSTEM PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br /> Soil vapor eVraction (SVE) and air sparging v ere initiated on January 4, 1996 and June 18, 1997, <br /> respectively A brief description and performance evaluation of the remedial s7stcm between January 26 and <br /> March 15,2000 are presented below <br /> SVE System <br /> The SVE system is comprised of I I SVE wells (VES-1 through VES-7, and ATR-3, ATR-4, ATR-5, and <br /> TEX-1) and a King Buck Hasstech 100 cfin catalytic oxidizer The SVE system is permitted by the San <br /> Joaquin County Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) Permit to Operate Number N-3413-I-0, <br /> for operation through January 1, 2002 <br /> Due to relatively low influent concentrations the SVE/AS was pulsed during the first quarter and will be <br /> pulsed during the second quarter of 2000 The SVE system was approminately 43% operational this quarter <br /> due to pulsing During this period, the SVE system removed approximately 14 09 pounds of TPHg To date, <br /> the SVE system has removed appromi nately 3,498 pounds of TPH-g from the soil and groundwater beneath <br /> the site Historical SVE system performance and analytical data are summarized in Tables A-1 and A-2 <br /> Graphical presentations of TPH-g mass removal and influent concentration data are shown on Figures A-1 and <br /> A-2 <br /> Air Spargmg System <br /> The air sparge system is comprised of i I air sparge wells(VES-I through VES-7 S-I through S-3,and SMW- <br /> 1)and a Conde 7 5-horsepower sparge blower <br /> The air sparging system operated at an average injection pressure of 6 0 psi and an average flow rate of 15 8 <br /> chn Air sparging system operational data, including well opcii/closed status flow rate and applied pressure, <br /> data are presented in Table A-3 Dissolved oxygen levels for site wells is presented in Table A-4 <br /> Attachments Table A-1 - Soil Vapor Emraction Systein Performance Data <br /> Table A-2 - Soil Vapor Extraction Emission Data <br /> Table A-3 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Well Data <br /> Table A4 - Air Sparging System Well Data <br /> Table A-5 - Dissolved Oxygen Well Concentrations <br /> Figure A-1 - Soil Vapor Ewiction System Removal Trend <br /> Figure A-2 - Soil Vapor Emraction System Hydrocarbon Concentrations <br /> Attachment A-A - Certified Analytical Reports, Chain of Custody Documentation, and <br /> Remedial System Field Data Sheets, <br />
