ATTACHMENT A <br /> REMEDIAL SYSTEM PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br /> Soil vapor extraction (SVE) and air sparging were imtiated on January 4, 1996 and June 18, 1997, <br /> respectively A brief description and performance evaluation of the remedial system between April 15, 1999 <br /> and June 21, 1999 are presented below <br /> SVE System <br /> The SVE system is comprised of 11 SVE wells (VES-1 through VES-7, and ATR-3, ATR-4, ATR-5, and <br /> TEX-1) and a King Suck Hasstech 100 cfm catalytic oxidizer The SVE system is permitted by the San <br /> Joaquin County Unified Air Pollution Control District (SJVUAPCD) Permit to Operate Number N-3413-1-0, <br /> for operation through January 1, 2002 <br /> The SVE system was approximately 81% operational this quarter Down time was associated with PG&E <br /> shuting off power in the area for construction activites During this period, the SVE system removed <br /> approximately 125 4 ponds of TPH-g To date, the SVE system has removed approximately 3,347 3 pounds of <br /> TPH-g from the soil and groundwater beneath the site Historical SVE system performance and analytical <br /> data are summarized in Tables A-1 and A-2 Graphical presentations of TPH-g mass removal and influent <br /> concentration data are shown on Figures A-1 and A-2 <br /> Air Sparging System <br /> The air sparge system is comprised of 1 i air sparge wells(VES-1 through VES-7, S-1 through S-3,and SMW- <br /> 1)and a Conde 7 5-horsepower sparge blower <br /> The air sparging system operated at an average injection pressure of 6 5 psi and an average flow rate of 14 <br /> cfm The air sparge system was approximately 81%operational this quarter Air sparging system operational <br /> data, including well open/closed status, flow rate and applied pressure, data are presented in Table A-3 <br /> Dissolved oxygen levels for site wells is presented in Table A4 <br /> Attachments Table A-1 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Performance Data <br /> Table A-2 - Soil Vapor Extraction Enussion Data <br /> Table A-3 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Well Data <br /> Table A4 - Air Sparging System Well Data <br /> Table A-5 - Dissolved Oxygen Well Concentrations <br /> Figure A-1 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Removal Trend <br /> Figure A-2 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Hydrocarbon Concentrations <br /> Attachment A-A - Certified Analytical Reports, Chain of Custody Documentation, and <br /> • Remedial System Field Data Sheets, <br />
