Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Re: Chevron Station-9 9-8264, 3775 Tracy Blvd.,Tracy, C <br /> Attached Corrective Action Plan (Touchstone, 11/10195) <br /> Dear Mr. Rowe: <br /> Please find attached a corrective action work-plan dated November 10, 1995 which was prepared by <br /> Chevron's consultant,Touchstone Developments(Touchstone), to describe corrective action measures at <br /> the subject site. Touchstone's corrective action plan describes preliminary site assessment, soil and <br /> groundwater investigation, and verification monitoring activities. The subject workplan details an <br /> approximate schedule of ongoing site construction activities as well as, a schedule for the proposed <br /> corrective action measures. Also included in Touchstone's workplan are soil and groundwater sampling <br /> procedures to be implemented at the time of excavation for the installation of new underground storage <br /> tanks (UST's). <br /> UST's). The tentative date for the excavation of the new underground storage tank pit is November <br /> 13, 1995 <br /> The prompt review and acceptance of this plan by your agency Would be very much appreciated. Chevron <br /> would specifically like to request approval by your agency of those activities proposed during the <br /> excavation and installation of the new UST's so that these activities can proceed as planned on November <br /> 13. 1995. Chevron would be willing to pay for overtime hours that may be incurred by you or your staff <br /> during the expeditious review of this plan. Please provide me with preliminary notification of your <br /> approval to proceed with the new UST excavation, or coniluents relating to the workplan as soon as <br /> possible. <br /> It is anticipated that the submittal of this corrective action workplan satisfies your expectations of such as <br /> described in your letter dated November 9, 1995.
