The analytical results of the one sample are as
follows:
Sample ID: Tank #1 Total Extractable 0.21 mg/L (parts per
(Water) Hydrocarbon (diesel) million)
(same as above) Lead 0.0071 mg/L (ppm)
(same as above) Ethylene dibromide 0.018 ug/L (ppb)
(See attached.)
The water sample was collected from the center of the underground storage tank
(UST) excavation. It was the only sample analyzed and reported by the
laboratory, Roy F. Weston, Inc, although there were soil samples taken at six
feet according to the chain of custody. The depth to water at this site is seven
feet below grade and there is a domestic well less than 200 feet away from the
former UST location.
The San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division
(PHS/EHD) has determined further investigation is required in order to assess
the extent of the contamination and impact to groundwater.
Enclosed is a list of environmental consulting firms and a claim application
package for the State Water Resources Control Board Cleanup Fund for which
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
