To complete 3 additional GeoProbe borings down-gradient of existing MW4 and collect soil <br /> and ground water samples for analysis. Two borings will be to first water, approximately 10 <br /> feet below surface grade (bsg), to collect ground water samples to further define the lateral <br /> extent of ground water contamination. One boring will be to approximately 35 feet bsg to <br /> collect soil samples starting at 25 feet bsg and a ground water sample at total depth to define <br /> the plume's vertical contaminant distribution. <br /> 2. Samples collected will be analyzed by a CDPH-certified laboratory for: TPH-gas, BTEX, fuel <br /> oxygenates, and fuel additives. <br /> 3. Sample analysis will be performing using appropriate EPA methodology and work will be <br /> performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation and cleanup of underground storage tank sites. <br /> 4. Upon completion of the proposed work, a report will be prepared including the investigation <br /> findings, conclusion and recommendations. The report must be submitted to EHD and <br /> CVRWQCB for review and comment. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. A boring permit application and fees must be submitted to EHD by September 30, 2008. <br /> 2. The proposed scope of work must be completed within 60 days of EHD permit issuance. <br /> 3.
