IMonitoring Well Installation Report <br /> YAMADA BROTHERS <br /> 15406 South Tracy Boulevard, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Bob Yamada, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> Monitoring Well Installation Report for the property located at 15406 South Tracy Boulevard, <br /> Stockton, California(site) The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, <br /> boring and well locations are Illustrated on Figure 2 Background information is summarized in <br /> Appendix A <br /> 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> Four ground water monitoring wells(MW-4 through MW-7)were Installed,developed and surveyed <br /> in April 2004 Three wells were scheduled for Installation, as outlined in the AGE-prepared <br /> Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, dated 09 February 2004 and approved by the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD)by letter dated 27 February 2004 A fourth well <br /> was installed at the request ofthe on-site regulator due to hydrocarbon odors detected during drilling, <br /> as shown in the regulatory letter included in Appendix B Field work was performed in accordance <br /> with guidelines Issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) <br /> for the Investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites <br /> 21 DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br /> I <br /> IOn 15 April 2004, four soil borings were advanced at the site The soil borings were advanced using <br /> a CME-75HT drill rig, utilizing 8 25-Inch diameter hollow-stem augers The drill ng and two-man <br /> crew were supplied by Mitchell Drilling Environmental Auger returns generated by drilling were <br /> containerized in properly labeled Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved model 17H <br /> 55-gallon drums and stored on-site <br /> Soil samples were collected ahead of the drill bit using a California modified split-spoon sampler <br /> loaded with three pre-cleaned 2-Inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The samples were collected from the <br /> I pilot borings at five-foot intervals,beginning at 5 feet below surface grade(bsg),using a 140-pound <br /> hammer to advance the sampler The number of blows required to advance the sampler over each <br /> 6-inch Increment of the 18-Inch sampling interval was recorded on the boring logs <br /> For each sample,both ends of the second or other selected sleeve were covered with Teflon sheets, <br /> capped and sealed with tape The samples were labeled, stored on Ice and transported under chain <br /> of custody to Cal Tech Environmental Laboratories (CTEL), a State of California Department of <br /> Health Services (DHS)-certified analytical laboratory Selected soil samples were analyzed for <br /> IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
