A total of 14 geoprobe direct <br /> push borings were advanced on site in the area of existing underground <br /> storage tanks (UST) and product piping lines. Work completed on <br /> 02102100. Soil and one grab groundwater samples were collected for <br /> analysis. <br /> 03/23/00 Subsurface Investigation Summary Report submitted this date. <br /> Analytical results reported 8.6 mg/kg TPH diesel, 1.4 mg/kg TPH gasoline <br /> and 0.016 mg/kg xylene in soil samples near the USTs, and 110 µg11 TPH <br /> diesel in the groundwater. <br /> 05/04/00 Underground storage tanks and piping lines were filled with four sack <br /> sand slurry. <br /> 05/18/00 Unauthorized Release Report#00-U10 and Prop 65#00-037 submitted <br /> this date. <br /> 06/30/00 Notice of Responsibility and Site Letter sent this date to Waterfront Yacht <br /> Harbor. <br /> 08/01/00 PHS/EHD directive sent to Waterfront Yacht Harbor requesting the <br /> submittal of a work plan to define the extent of the contamination. k <br /> 08/30/00 Phone conversation with site consultant; Waterfront Yacht Harbor <br /> questions the need for further investigation. <br /> 09/13/00 Conversation between PHS/EHD and CVRWQCB. Decision that further <br /> investigation is warranted. <br /> 10/26/00 Correspondence from consultant requesting reconsideration of the need <br /> for further investigation. Reference made to ongoing investigation of site <br /> located downgradient, groundwater data is available from their monitoring <br /> wells. <br /> 01/26/01 Correspondence from consultant requesting reconsideration of the need <br /> for further investigation. Referenced specific report and specific MW data <br /> collected in 1999. One monitoring well located on property south of the <br /> subject site had only 0.9 ppb toluene. <br /> 02/28/01 PHS/EHD and CVRWQCB reviewed referenced data.
