Stoner : <br /> Enclosed is Groundwater Technology, Inc . Is (GTI Is). report titled <br /> "Assessment Report , Subsurface Hydrocarbon Investigation, The <br /> Beverage Source.- Inc , ISC Winery, 1 West Turner Road, Lodi , <br /> California" , dated May 25 , 1988 . Th'e report presents the <br /> findings of GTI ' s investigation, which included the results of <br /> laboratory analyses performed on soil and groundwater samples <br /> obtained from soil borings and newly-installed monitoring wells . <br /> This letter provides GTI ' s interpretation of the impact and <br /> s extent of soil contamination, and presents recommendations for <br /> additional work. <br /> During removal of the underground storage tank ,-at the above <br /> referenced site, hydrocarbon contamination was noted in the <br /> surrounding soils which resulted in .additional excavation.
