{ <br /> ISC Winery, 1 West Turner Road, Lodi, California (page 2) <br /> Describe the methodology by which both the lateral and vertical <br /> extent of soil contamination will be determined. Describe the <br /> sampling plan for monitoring the existing wells on site. <br /> Total Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TEPH) analysis by GC/FID <br /> methodology is required for both water and soil samples. Total <br /> Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH), EPA method N416 is not sufficient. <br /> Additional monitoring wells (2) will need to be placed down gradient <br /> of the tank excavation and in the tank excavation to monitor the <br /> groundwater quality downgradient, and to assess the soil/groundwater <br /> quality at the excavation. The monitoring well to be placed in the <br /> tank excavation may be precluded by removing contaminatd soil to <br /> groundwater in this area. <br /> The zero line of� soil contamination has not been established in the <br /> area o£ soil boring k 4 due to the odnr noted in a soil sample taken <br /> at depth. Describe why a monitoring well was rot installed at this <br /> location. <br /> The District has completed the review of the GTI report for the <br /> subject site.
