Excavation History : The site was used as a winery from 1909 through 1984.
On site was a distillery. In the distilling process a boiler was used. Buildings were demolished and clean up as attempted.
Approximately 1250 cubic yards of non-contaminated soil was placed in a pile south of
the excavated area. Work was stoDp ed after approximately 1400 cubic y::res cpntam-
inated soil was removed and ~laced on Elastic north of the excavated area.
