History of Site The site is situated in the north central portion of the <br /> San Joaquin Malley on flat, low lying fluvial deposits consisting of gravels, sands <br /> and clay deposited by the Mokelumne River system. The Mokelumne River flows approx- <br /> imately 750 feet to the north. Site elevation is approximately 5D feet above mean <br /> Sea level. It iS estimated that groundwater will be encOUntered at 3Q to 40 flet <br /> below grade. <br /> Local domestic water is supplied by a municipal water supply system. There are <br /> three non-Oaeratin ZndUS�rial water supply wells loc=ted within the boundar-eS of the <br /> site (see enclosed Site Plan). .:The city of Lodi is p-esently supplying sanitary Sewage <br /> hook up to private residences in the vicinity or the site. <br /> The site has been in use as a winery from 1909 and was subsequently decommissioned <br /> in 1984. The on site storage t=nk has been used to store both bunker oil and diesel <br /> ue]_T_or_use_intne_winery bojer plan During initial site demolition a concrete <br /> underground storage tank with an approximpte velumne of 15,000 gallons was removed (see <br /> enclosed Site Plan). During the tank removal physical evidence of soil contamination <br /> was noted. At Coat time approximately 4'000 cubic yards of soil was excavated. All <br /> excavated soils were stockpiled on Site with the contaminated soils segregated. <br />
